Anna Veprinska is the author of Empathy in Contemporary Poetry after Crisis (Palgrave Macmillan, 2020), which received Honourable Mention in the Memory Studies Association First Book Award, Sew with Butterflies: poems (Steel Bananas Press, 2014), and Spirit-clenched (Gap Riot Press, 2020). She is a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto and an immigrant-settler living in the greater Toronto (Tkaronto) area.
